Another new beauty treatment ticked off my list! 

I was very kindly offered to try Brow Lamination at The Beauty Guru MediaCity and I jumped at the chance. I adore the more fluffy brow look and I struggle with volume in my brows, so I was definitely intrigued to see what the treatment would do for me.

What is Brow Lamination?


Brow Lamination works in a similar way to a lash lift (which we all know I love!) and involves straightening the brow hairs so that they all stand in the desired direction. The idea being that you can then move the hairs to cover any gaps and fill out your brows, creating a more 'fluffy' effect. The treatment also usually involves waxing, threading, trimming and tinting the brows also.

In the above photos the top 3 photos show the 'after' and the two very bottom are before. You will see that my brows look so much bigger! I loved the effect of the treatment and the fact it totally bulked out my brows!

I don't tend to ever have to wax or thread my brows so one thing I will say is that now that the tint has worn off a bit I feel like if I were to have the treatment again I would leave more of the hairs at the top of my brows (but only if they looked ok). You really have to ensure you moisturise your brows too as they can feel quite dry after the treatment. Visually they look fine but the hair is more coarse than usual.

The treatment takes 40 minutes, costs £45 and lasts 6-8 weeks.
