RECENT FAVES // MAY 2019
Wednesday, 15 May 2019
After a small break, I am back! Things have been SUPER busy with work, training for the Manchester 10K and hauling ass to the Gym too.
I always end up feeling like I am desperate to get back to Blogging when I have to prioritise other things. It's so nice to have something that I love ready and waiting to go that I can pour my creativity into, especially as I enjoy creating content so much!
This post is all about what I have been loving lately.
Some recurring faves are highlighted AGAIN, along with some newbies for your reading pleasure!
HYDRABOOST EXPRESS HYDRATING SPRAY // NEUTROGENA
A fave discovered via Amelia Liana that I have talked about probably 200 times... this moisturiser is by far the best I have ever used! Easy to apply and quick drying, there's no excuse not to moisturise with this!
DREAM GLOW PALETTE // ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS
This was a case of being drawn to the sparkle like a magpie when I bought this a while back... it is such a gorgeously versatile palette and I use it most days! I'm loving my current foundation, bronzer and highlight combo at the moment! 50% off today via the FeelUnique Link above! (15/05/2019)
PILLOW TALK PALETTE // CHARLOTTE TILBURY
I recently had a makeover at Charlotte Tilbury in Selfridges, they used this palette on me and it is SO GOOD! I genuinely think this would suit everyone and the colours are so easy to blend, perfect for anyone who wants to treat themselves to some new makeup and loves nudes!
MANGO BALM DOT COM // GLOSSIER
I already loved the Balm Dot Com from Glossier but when I was stocking up on my Boy Brow (another personal fave) I saw that they had introduced a Mango Flavour and popped it into my basket. It is SO nice - I love the smell and feel of it and it leaves my lips feeling hydrated but not overly sticky, perfect for under lipsticks!
PURITY FAKE TAN // ST TROPEZ
It's no secret that I am not very skilled when it comes to applying fake tan.. and I don't love the transfer onto my sheets - I will make an exception when I have a big night out but on the whole for a day to day glow I prefer something that's easy to apply and fades evenly too! St Tropez Purity is light enough that if you make an error it's easily salvaged but you can also build up the colour too.
SHE SELLS SEA SHELLS
H&M and Zara seem to have the best shell jewellery at the moment and I can't get enough! They add such a summery vibe to my otherwise quite plain wardrobe!
PRO-GLOW FOUNDATION // L'OREAL
This has been a very recent discovery after watching Ruby Holley - I am usually a matte gal but thought I would give this a go after seeing how nice it was! I am HOOKED. It has such a nice finish, it evens skin tone but leaves the perfect glow and is also super moisturising.
CLOUD PERFUME // ARIANA GRANDE
I read on Twitter that this smells identical to Baccarat Rouge 540 by Francis Kurkdijan and I can confirm that is absolutely the case! It is a fraction of the price and a really unique fragrance, I adore it and can highly recommend!
CUTICLE OIL // NAF STUFF
Upon recommendation of my wonderful Nail Technician Laura that using a cuticle oil would sort my cuticle woes, I picked up some of the Cuticle Oil Pens from Naf Stuff! They are super convenient and I have them in various bags, my car, by my bed and I can slather some on and my cuticles have been SO much better!
