Manchester Eats: Home Sweet Home and Bakeorama
Sunday, 9 August 2015
Another of my absolute fave restaurants in Manchester is Home Sweet Home in the Northern Quarter.
Probably one of THE most instragrammable places in town, HSH almost always has a queue of people waiting to get a table and I must admit I have been known to get there for opening on a Sunday for breakfast as it's just SO GOOD.
One of the highlights of HSH is the Bakeorama Counter. You may well have seen pictures of these cakes as they are absolute works of art. I was lucky enough to get a bespoke creation for my 30th Birthday earlier this year, and people still talk about it and how they could 'just murder a piece of that carrot cake'. I mean anywhere that can put emojis on cakes is a winner for me, but if you do struggle to get a table at HSH, do not leave without takeaway cake!!!
The restaurant is super chilled and food is awesome. Not exactly the best for diets, but they will cater for whatever your preferences, so back in the day when I was being mega strict they made me the exact breakfast I wanted and it was yummy :)
If you live or are heading into Manchester then most definitely pay them a visit and you will feel right at home!
