Another shamefully long overdue post from when I attended Handpicked Media's London Fashion Week Blogger Lounge!

As you may remember, Handpicked Media hosted a Blogger Lounge in the amazing One Aldwych London where Bloggers and guests could relax in between shows and I was lucky enough to get an invite! We were treated to relaxing hand and arm massages, refueled by Coconut Water and Pop Chips and Freya Lingerie showcased their latest collections.

One of the other treats attendees could make use of was to have their makeup done by Bourjois! The Makeup artist recreated looks that were being used on the Catwalks and I had a gorgeous shimmery gold eye with purple smudged onto my lower lashline which really brought of the green colour of my eyes.

The lovely PR lady offered us the chance to try some of the products and I was able to sample the Healthy Mix Foundation, Rouge Edition Lipstick in I think Shade Number 3 'Peche Cosy' and the lovely lilac shadow that had been used on me!

I tried to take a picture of the lipstick on but then was drawn to the fact that my lips need a serious exfoliation and I'll be honest no one wants to see the photo I took! I will try and get another one!

The foundation was a very welcome surprise as I had some old faithfuls that I rely on which are MAC Moisture Tint or BareMinerals Original Foundation and I don't normally mix things up, but it just goes to show that you don't have to spend a fortune on expensive bases!

The foundation is really lovely and brightening to apply and I was coloured matched as No 53 as I had a little fake tan on when they did my makeup. It is probably a little dark when I am sans tan but who cares this stuff is really lovely and I would definitely purchase it myself.

Bourjois were one of the first make up brands I tried as a young teenager with pocket money burning a hole in my pocket - hands up who else used to have an array of colours of the lipglosses with the little brush?! I am almost sad I have forgotten them along the way of trying more expensive brands, however I am now converted back to them and will definitely not be rushing to the expensive high end products anymore and giving Bourjois a whirl!
