French Pharmacie Finds
Tuesday, 22 January 2013
I couldn't make full use of the AMAZING French Pharmacie we stumbled across that seemed to sell every single thing I have heard about in the Blogosphere as I was only travelling with hand luggage and those *blasted* 100ml liquids rules!
However I was able to pick up some bits and bobs that I wanted to try which I was really pleased about! Every beauty blogger seems to have put a spot light on the Bio Derma Crealine H2O Solution Micellaire so I have jumped on the bandwagon with an 100ml mini bottle to try. The Pharmacie I went into had the duo packs for a bargainous 17 Euros which seemed so unfair I couldn't take advantage!
I was introduced to La Roche-Posay by an event in Manchester with their creator, L'Oreal. I am hooked on this brand, their sensitive skin complementing, simple formulas suit my skin down to a tee and I love their products. I have previously featured the Cicaplast Baume B5 on my blog before as it is their version of Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream but it is much less shiny, overall less fussy etc. I wasn't able to bring the big tube with me due to lack of space and my face was feeling a little battered from the cold and winds, so I was overjoyed to find a smaller tube which will be perfect for on the go!
The next one, I don't actually know the English name for it but my basic french knowledge told me it's a spot treatment cream and as flying almost always breaks me out without fail I picked some up to pop on a spot that was brewing to try and kill it off!
Whilst it isn't pictured, I have recently purchased the Effaclar Duo that has been talked about excitedly by many a beauty blogger and I wanted to try it out! I have quite large pores and greasy skin so when I found out that it is a god send for both of those skin complaints I wanted to give it a whirl! I am not disappointed so far! You can put it on morning and night but I tend to pop it on in the morning as I *think* I would probably find it a little drying to use twice a day, but in the morning it is the perfect pre base for my makeup. It has a gel like consistency and almost moisturises but mattifies and tightens pores all in one easy application. Thumbs up from me!
Finally, I realise this is not exactly a hard to get brand but I adored the bright orange colour of 'Hot and Spicy', and I picked this up to accompany my LBD on an upcoming jaunt to Liverpool for my friends hen party!
