Last Wednesday evening saw the launch of Merabi by Nadine in Selfridges at the Trafford Centre.

In the run up to Manchester Fashion Week 2013 the designers involved will take part in a number of launch events and parties to increase awareness of their own brand and Manchester Fashion Week itself.

This has all kicked off by the star studded launch of Nadine's diffusion line in Selfridges, Merabi by Nadine. Merabi by Nadine is a relatively young brand but one that has increased in popularity dramatically over the two years since Nadine taught herself to sew. (which is a pretty impressive feat itself!)

Now a firm favourite of the soap stars, Merabi by Nadine is a collection that uses some of the most beautiful fabrics, embellishment and detailing I have seen for a long time. The collection mainly concentrates on evening wear and for those of you who have a formal Christmas Party or New Year's Eve event coming up I would highly recommend you head to Selfridges to check it out.

Merabi by Nadine also offers a bespoke dress making service on the website www.merabibynadine.com so if there is something particular you have in mind then I would definitely check it out and you maybe able to get that dress you have always dreamed of!

I was unfortuately unable to attend the launch party but Manchester Fashion Week has lots to keep Manchester Fashionistas busy over the next few months so I am excited to see who is in the spotlight next!
